Dallas has a visually striking skyline for sure. And don't consider this a slam against Houston or LA. It's just my opinion of Dallas' skyline.

Both LA and houston hence seem less visually appealing, because of their severe lacking in unique and interesting structures that usually come via the need to impress. Even the bank of america plaza looks like a work of art compared to some of those buildings i've seen in their skylines, which isn't good. LA and houston's skyline at night is another story... it's almost as if you can only differentiate buildings by height once night falls. Houston' skylines are also too spread out for such a small density of buildings.
