Anyone catch the pre-race (200 Fly semis) mind games being played out in the locker room and on the pool deck between Phelps and the S African defending champ in the 200 Fly? What the video doesn't get into was the SA trying in vain to break Phelps game once they walked out to get ready at the pool side just before the race.

They race next to each other for gold tonight.

Rigged results on boxing. It's a brewing scandal in rio. Along with the filth and the crime is the unclean refereeing and judging. Things are just grimy in Brazil.

Don't be so hard on the poor booby. At least with fencing she has something to concentrate on besides joining ISIS and making suicide vests.

And the IOC gets to rule who can race and who can't. Just smile and try not to act so high school.
Keep that in mind the next time you encounter yet another tribute to Muhammad Ali.

He started the whole ugly mess.

they need to loosen up the maximum athletes allowed on our team so that more of us can join in and win some medals too

Lilly King must produce an enormous amount of testosterone for a woman. It's rare for a guy of that age to have a receding hairline like hers. Not to mention the massive neck and non existing boobs.

Amazing, NBC is actually showing Phelp's race now, instead of at 11:00 PM!

I already knew the outcome by the way, incredible race.

They should count the total medals. Like our swimming relay teams, when they win well, that's actually 4 medals total, so we really probably have a hundred or so by now.
