In my honest opinion I feel like the whole world is becoming socialist by imposing these Draconian Lockdowns on every single human being, just another example that the the people power think were too stupid to do anything right. The only people that social isolate are the eldery and only those vulnerable, and btw the warmer weather and higher humidity destroys any virus period. I feel like the world is overeacting a little bit. Government has no right to tell business to shut their doors or impose social distancing. like I said before the summer weather will kill the virus.
This is the type of socialism of needs over wants. It could be overreacting but I suppose better to take action than do nothing. Otherwise, it's socialism for wants causing all the uproar.

"It is thought one reason why flu spreads less readily in summer is that people spend less time together in confined spaces. In particular, it could be linked to school closures, says John Edmunds, also at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
However, children tend to spread flu because they have less immunity to flu strains than adults, who have been exposed to many strains. This isn’t the case for the new coronavirus – fewer cases have been reported in young people, though this may be just because they are less likely to become seriously ill."

Most, but not all virus in the Corona and Influenza classes fair better in less humid atmosphere, which is usually found in the winter, across most of the US. But those things are most, not all.

Bingo, that is the most important factor.
And that is a form of social distancing.
Coronavirus: what is ivermectin and how does it work?
"The readily available anti-parasitic drug has proven effective against Covid-19 in vitro, as well as against other viruses, although human studies are ongoing."
No side effects like the malaria drug. It's cheap, OTC for animals (they sell at Walmart) FDA approved, and ranchers literally have tons of it stockpiled. Our local feed store is pulling it off the shelves for fear people will start panic buying it and using it on themselves.
Any word on food shortages? Grocery stores are still running low but I thought it was mostly from hoarder buying. Starting to hear rumors of supply and distribution problems now. Anyone else hearing this?

Interesting follow up today. There is a story on how meat houses are closing due to covid19 and there might be meat shortages as a result. It’s already hard to find meat.
Went to a ranch supply store today, thought I'd check out their stock of chicken and turkey chicks.
Very few. The salesman said there have been problems getting chicks in, nd when the do they're sold out almost immediately.
Seems it's getting hard to find eggs, and the prices are going up, so these city and suburban types are getting chickens for the back yard. Apparently there was a new ordinance passed that allows you to have up to 6 hens in town. No rooster because they're noisy, but hens will lay without rooster so these people are buying chicks and ready made coops and all the fixens because there might be an egg shortage.
I was going to get some to keep the grasshoppers under control. I like fried chicken, not crazy about eggs, but I find all these city people panicked and farming chickens in their yard to be immensely funny.
I hope it works well for them.
As for me, there's a farm that has a lot of chickens just down the road from my ranch. I can get my chickens there.

Good thing, may be people will get healthier and leaner.
