Have y'all ever seen any .17 HMR rifles sold at the gun shows? I'm looking around for one.

HCHRM

I've seen a few, but I can't guarantee that there'll be any at this weekend's show...

Have you tried Texas Gun Trader? I've seen a few on there as well.

Cheers! M2

The monthly SAXET show is this weekend (3-4 July) at the SA Event Center, 410 and Marbach.

Doors open at 9:00

And the second show of the year at the Alzafar Shrine Temple (901 N Loop 1604 W) will be 24-25 July. Doors open there at the same time.

Cheers! M2

I'm gun-broke as well. I'm picking up my new Savage Edge XP tomorrow so I won't have much to spend either...

Cheers! M2

Most FAs are a waste of ammo, but since I've shot a FA MP5 numerous times using NATO's ammo I have no burning desire to spend my own money to do so again.

Plus, I think the Bullethole is a deathtrap, and steer clear of that place as much as possible!

Why is that? Coworkers love the place. They often invite me, but I have yet to go.

BH is poorly run, with RO's too busy trying to be cool to actually control what's going on in a safe and consistant manner. WAY too many homes downrange, and a large percentage of mouthbreathers in attendance.
