It's that time again! The SAXET San Antonio Gun Show will be this weekend (6-7 March) at the SA Event Center (410 and Marbach).

Show hours are Sat. 9am - 6pm and Sun. 9am - 5pm, and parking is free but limited, so it's a good idea to get there early! There is an IHOP and a Tex-Mex restaurant withing walking distance of the parking lot, so it's not a bad idea to park at the show and go get some breakfast beforehand.

Also, don't park in the areas marked off for the church and center, as they did tow from those spots during the last show.

And if you can't make this show, here are the remaining shows for this year...

Apr 3-4
May 1-2
Jun 5-6
Jul 3-4
Aug 7-8
Sep 4-5
Oct 2-3
Nov 6-7
Dec 4-5

Cheers! M2

Yeah, I'll concede that. It's just that it's so close to my house in comparison to the SAXET location. But I do see, and respect why you might not want to frequent the show any longer.

UPDATE: Apparently due to the parking issues, they are now charging $3 to park at the SA Event Center. Event personnel are also directing where people park.

Secret tip, get there early and not only is there no charge for parking; but you also get a great spot! Front row and free, I was very happy. I was even happier in finding two great deals at the show!

Cheers! M2

Did the parking fee impact the numbers? I was wondering how long they were going to let that revenue source go untapped..

and what did you get?

There was still a line to get in when we left around 11:30, so apparently not but since this was the first time they charged for parking the true test will be next month.

I picked up a 1915 Russian revolver and a 1926 Russian rifle, both at great prices.
