Yes, I heard quite a bit about that. For instance: "Wilhelms"="Williams", "Kohlmann"="Coleman", and "Pressler"="Presley". Yes, Elvis's great grandfather was German. Very sad chapter for sure for German Americans.

i agree it is not bad, the lady who owns it its also from munich. they have music one night a week, or used to.

Have any of my fellow German-Americans gone to see the Texas/Pennsylvania German folkart display at SAMA? I just went today; if you want to see it, hurry. I think it closes pretty soon.
