Folks, if you're interested in living within city limits, I recommend checking out this area:

Great, walkable neighborhoods all of them. Downtown has also been seeing a resurgence with tons of new loft developments, but it's still lacking in terms of amenities. Grove Place and Corn Hill are very nice, however.
