It's always a given that whenever ugly truth gets revealed that might not be so flattering for one's property values, the usual forum derailers are out in full force. But everyone is of course welcome to stay if they have intelligent commentary to add. So I'll ask you Hollytree, MP775, timberline742, independent man...what is your take on the current situation/thread topic (drug trade in Providence)?

The truth is not what is ugly. And, as always your welcome is not required here.

Interesting comments from the 2 guys who said they'd prefer to live on June Street (Chad Brown projects) than Pembroke Ave (mainly Providence College off-campus housing).

Perhaps a new thread needs to be started. Purely in the public interest of course.

Illegal prostitution in the Providence area. Exactly on what street corners can prostitutes be found? Descriptions? Nicknames? Measurements? Cost of service? Number of arrests along with exact details???

This could be really helpful to those looking to relocate.

As opposed to your thread titled Back Woods Hysteria, in which you promote the idea of lengthening the hunting season in Rhode Island due to an overabundance of "Canadian" geese and Black Bear "sitings"?

Itis about crime- is it not? I just thought that since you and Redplum had such an avid interest in crime, you would be best qualified by far to consider it. I don't have any of the insider knowledge that you do.

And it would add to your reputation for public service.

Why is it that Lib's always want to find a way to turn criminal dirt bags into some kind of "victims" and enable them? Oh it's not the criminal dirt bags fault for pushing poison that destroys our youth....nah....it's the fault of the "demand". The criminal dirt bags are just "misunderstood".

It's like saying its not the fault of the thieves that steal cars....its the fault of the "demand" from the black market for auto parts. Or it's not the fault of the cockroach thugs that break into a house and steal jewlery.....it's the "demand" from the pawn shops. Typical LIB garbage. Singapore is lucky, they don't have the brainwashed bleeding heart LIB's the USA is infested with. And Singapore has none of the drug pushing cockroach thug trash the US is infested with.
