Danimae1, I'll be waiting on your comment on my last post! I would like to know how much of what I asked, God is making you do?

If you listen to Pat Robertson or other evangelists they'll tell you even more.

Catholicism/Christianity is more than doctrine, it's a way of life. You can be your own evangelist, it might open a whole new world and perspective.

You can at least appreciate the sermon on the mount in your own way.

If you didn't have free will, you would be worshipping God, which you say that you don't.

If you didn't have free will, you wouldn't have a choice in going to church. It would be mandatory.

If you didn't have free will, you would be forced to follow God, or forced to worship Him, or forced to believe in Him, or forced to pray to HIm.

HOw much of those things is God forcing you to do/ I take it none, because you say you don't do any of them. So, if you don't have free will, then what are you being forced to do?

I don't hear of you saying that God is forcing you on your knees, or beating you to worship Him, or making you sing to Him.

The only thing I see you doing is questioning why you think that people would believe, worship or want to even come to God.

Then answer me this. Since you don't have free, how much time is God forcing you to pray, or how much time is God making you worship Him, or how much time is God making you read the bible, since you don't have free will?
This is confusing

Who determines what free choice/will you are to have? Who to say that you must follow or must not?
If god wants us all to follow/believe/worship then it should be a MUST for all.

But no, you are saying we are free to choose as we wish. We wish not to follow/worship, etc, yet, you come and tell us we absolutely MUST, or else.. Because if we don't, we'll be punished.

So really, according to your logic, there is no choice.

God did not make war, famine and hate. These are traits of men not of God.
Although, God, through His Son will change the hearts of men either through, Love or His Wrath. Man has a choice.

Shepsmom writes clearly. If you can understand or choose not to is your choice. It must the dense fog of faith which prevents clear vision or thinking.

You're right. God did not make war or hate. However, some famines are caused by factors that humans can't control.
Christians apparently don't understand the difference between a choice and an ultimatum. This religion presents an ultimatum, not a choice.
Christians cannot come up with straightforward answers to anything.

God didn't make famine? What about the other natural disasters that people have no control over but become victims of? Or do you believe sin brings these things like Fred Phelps does?

And for the things people do have control over, why does God allow innocent children to suffer for others' mistakes?

If god actively prevented the suffering of innocent children he would have much less time to devote to his favorite fetish; monitoring human sex lives.

You're not getting what i'm saying.

I have a choice of not believing, you have a choice of believing.

Who is wrong? Who is right?

According to you, if i don't believe (my choice) i'll go to hell (wrong)
According to you, if you believe (your choice) you'll go to heaven.(right)

Following the logic here??? Do i really have a choice of not believing?
