Teeth serve more functions than just eating, is that all you use you're teeth for? teeth and claws are also used for defense.

Look at a horse's teeth, completely flat. A horse dosent need sharp teeth do defend its self, it could just run away. Now what defense do so many other smaller herbivores have? their predators are most often faster than they are, so they cant run away. So they turn to tooth and and nail for defense.

while on this note look at any other large herbivore that dosent really have predetors, horses, elefants, rhinocori. since there is a realitivly low threat of predators to theses species, they dont need sharp teth and claws to protect themselves. but for squirles, rabits, and even bats predators are a seirous threat and therefore need some sort of defence.

Huh? Are you being intentionally obtuse? The point I'm making freedom is that whales once walked on land, and long ago returned to the sea...Hence the remnants of hind limbs.
