Thank you Nighteyes for posting this article.

Thank you, Nighteyes. You know, it takes great wisdom to express complex feelings and thoughts in stories that even a child can understand.

aloha, koale.......thanks for jumping in. Having an islander here is a good thing. Do you follow old traditions or are you more of a jesus person?

Default ahhh...

'Old Traditions', Goodpasture. I believe my heart knows what they are, even though, at times, my head does not quite comprehend it all. I spend each morning, before work, about 5am or so...barefoot in the sand and surf soaking it all in for the day so that the rest doesn't bother me. I have been given so much 'Aloha', since being here that my heart just overflows with it every day. You see, Goodpasture, I'm not 'Local' by the traditional standard, but I have been sent back after many years for a reason...always searching and listening to the waves. I'm drawn to the surf. I seem to have a special bond to 'Honu'...she keeps 'popping up' when I need to see her the most. You understand...
A hui hou.
Koale

I mean absolutely no disrespect to anyone here or of their cultures/beliefs. I come to the circle to sit, learn, and share. I do not wish to step on any toes with my questions.

I sincerely apologize to all of you if my questions and/or presence here has not been wanted.

Many blessings,
Patrice
Hey Patrice, wanted you to know that the only reason I did not respond to your post earlier is because PT and GP had already said what needed to be said. I thought it important, though, to go ahead and respond now because I know I am a bit of a militant, a nationalist and come across a little strong sometimes. I wanted you to know that I share what they have already expressed.

There is nothing wrong with asking questions because that is how we learn to get along. You have certainly done nothing that is disrespectful or offensive. Ask away.
