I just don't get the appeal of it. The men look like gay dudes that will leave you sorely disappointed in most other men's trouser snakes and the women look like they used to be men or carrots. Another overated thing that usually holds appeal to the frustrated and sheltered. Why watch? Why not just do?
Spend some time watching a few good flicks one night when you're alone and see if your opinion doesn't change.
I guess knowing the darksided truth of the industry is the only thing I can focus on and I can't get past that. I don't know how other people can get off on it. People don't work in porn because they had a good or easy life. That is what I see as well. Not really a turn on.
Sometimes 3-4 times a week, other times (when more stressed out) less.

It's never been clear to me why some people pay for porn. It's all over the place and free.

Sort of. He does that too. I offered to watch some with him, but oddly enough he seems to think it's a 'sick' idea. Obviously I would be doing rather than watching to be honest, but since the person I should be doing with would rather watch...well, if u can't beat them, join them.

Define hiding? Since I was told he doesn't find it appropriate to watch it with me, I now watch it when he's not around.It doesn't necesarily count as hiding because he knows I do it and he's been invited to watch with me.
No, I don't watch porn. Have I before? Of course. Most of it is either hysterically funny or just plain boring. The close up shots of the "action" leave me completely cold. And has anyone ever seen the guys in most porn films?! Euwww!!! Talk about ugly! I know they weren't hired for their good lucks, but please...!
I'd never pay for it. Yuck. I get more from watching a movie like "Body Heat". Even "The Terminator" had a wonderful love/sex scene in it. Porn is not erotic; the movies I just mentioned are.
I read romance novels. I've gotten to the point that I skip past the sex scenes, though. I read those books for the emotional connection between the hero and heroine, and also because I'm guaranteed that they'll have a happy ending. I can't stand books that leave me more depressed!
Let's be honest folks. We all watch porn. Stop being in internet denial. I watch it maybe like less often than the boys, that's fo sho. Why pay when it's free and I'm single so no one watching over my back or being jealous of online penis.

I disagree with everything you've said, and I think your attitude is confining and unhealthy for you and those around you. I'm sorry you are unable to let go, try new things, and live life a little more fully.
I live life, and am not prudish in the slightest and I think sex is great. My views on sexuality are not the ones that are warped and unhealthy

I watch it maybe a few times a month. I don't have a favorite but Adam and Eve has a great selection of dvd's and a catalog. I would spend maybe $15-$25.00 on a DVD. I don't order regularly, I only have 2 or 3 DVD's. I don't do it "monthly" or anything.
I have watched it with a past SO, to "spice things up". He was definately all for it.

You're right that a lot of the guys in porn are kinda gross looking, but I guess they're not hired for their looks!!
