I'm socially conservative but I understand that you can not require someone to use birth control. It is an ethical slippery slope to go down and that is why it hasn't been done yet. Same is true for adoption. There is no alternative to welfare. The best the U.S. has come up with is stricter child support laws. In Europe, they have even heavier welfare systems than the U.S.
I agree that the media today does not help people overall be more responsible though.
It's really a mess because I have known people with several kids by different dads and none are paying for the kid, taxpayers are. It's sick to me when I go to the store and see a mom with several kids on welfare. I wish I knew what to do but yes part of it is the media. Look at how it is reporting Kanye West and Kim Kardashian's baby or Brangelinas kids or other unwed celebs.

Well you never know with me and Taco Man. Then again he is definitely the marry them type if I became pregnant and not married (though he wears a purity rung so who knows).
Any documentation to back this up? Because in real life, I have found that men are great fathers when with the mother, yet after the break up they become less so. I have a few friends and myself, that have had the fathers disappear without a trace. No money sent either.
A man who would leave his offspring is not to be trusted and should never be put in a position of responsibility because he is irresponsible.
Cool story.
Nothing in the OP indicates that this man is leaving his offspring, though.
