Ahaha, why is that game censored? What kind of games were you playing Jade? Naughty naughty.

Anyway I haven't been to Alameda yet. The problem with Treasure Island is getting over to Oakland is a massive pain in the arse; one has to take the bus into SF, go to the Bart station, take it back over (or rather under) to the East Bay, and then switch again to go to your final destination.

If I had a car it would be pretty easy...mm. I'll check it out one of these days, for sure.

I compliment people all the time (you can usually find at least one thing you like). If it's a guy who doesn't know me well (I don't fool around, etc.). I'll say something like "I totally not hitting on you, but wanted to tell you that suit looks great."

Default My Experience

Nowadays everyone's too p.c...plus compliments can be taken as creepy if they don't look at you the same way.

much as id like to i never compliment the ladies at work--i don't want to be seen as creepy. i am not known as creepy tho but anyway it might make the women think i like them and i don't want that either--better they like me and wonder if i like them instead!! I HATE giving any kind of clue that i might like someone it makes me feel so GD vulnerable...

Zipcar!

Is it true that Treasure Island is formed completely out of debris?

Zipcar? Is that a car that comes out of a zippo? Neat.

And technically yes, the Island is man-made. It was made for the purpose of a World Fair, and then became a Naval Base, and then became an erotic toy factory. Well. At least two of those three things are true.

Zipcar It's a really handy car sharing program. If only they came out of Zippos...

I will be sad if the two truths doesn't include the island being an erotic toy factory.

Aren't the zip cars the ones you can pick-up and drop off at various locations? There was one at a gas station by my sister's house. I always thought that was a great idea.

They don't call it tresure island for nothing.

"Hey mom! I just found this weird looking rubber-thing laying on the ground in the alley. Can I play with it?"

You can't fool me, Duck!
But parts of Alameda are built on landfill. Back then nobody thought twice about creating extra landmass by dumping trash into the Bay. Finally, some people wised up, and started a movement to stop the infill. (I'm not sure, I think the Bay is now 1/3 smaller than its original size.) Now they have the opposite concern. Global warming covering S.F. and Oakland airports, part of Alameda and San Francisco in water. Not to mention storm surges. I guess Treasure Island will be under water, too. By then, though, Duck will have moved up in the world, to higher ground...
