My male friends from college have gotten married or moved or they would rather sit around and play video games than do something fun so I've been entertaining the thought of making some female friends. Looking at dating profiles, I've noticed that a lot of women seem to share my interests (sports, working out, hiking, even shopping, fashion, etc). Women are more social than guys and that is a plus.It seems like most women post-25 are looking for Mr. Right but I'm not really at the stage yet where I'm looking for marriage. Do women after let's say 25 tend to be open to friendship with guys or would they much rather hang out with each other when they're not dating a guy?
Not all women are interested in marriage as they are usually financially independent by the age of 25. If a woman writes a post that she is looking to get married and you are not interested, just move to another post. When I was single, not every guy out there was marriage material for me so, yes, I did have male friends. However, they didn't want to keep it that way so the relationship had to terminate as it just wasn't a good match on those terms. What can I say? It is complicated! Male friendship are great as long as they stay within the defined terms. I have had many females tell me that it is really better to have a gay male friend as they don't put pressure on them and they can just be good friends.
I've always had women as friends. Many were platonic relationships. Some were not. Age is and was not a factor.
Your a better man than me I guess.
I never could do it.
Actually, I never wanted to do it.
For what reason would I?
