ImhO, part of the marriage contract is sex. Someone who says they don't care for sex is in essence saying, I don't like sex with you. If her claim is that she has no interest in sex whatsoever, you might inquire why she even wants to be married?, since sex is certainly part of the marriage contract. I'd say its time for some very honest converstations.
But if his wife wasn't a very sexual person before they got married, the OP can't be too surprised that she's still not a very sexual person.
Should've had more sense than to marry a cold fish. It's not bright to marry someone who is different than the type of woman you like. If I meet a woman and she has very little libido even while I'm still young and good looking, she'll be way worse when I look like a wrinkled old raisin. Human lack of logic never ceases to astound me. Every man should be forced by law to watch a season of Everybody Loves Raymond before marriage.
LOL - that show is SO depressing. It makes me NEVER want to get married.

But this is happen to lots of men out there where regardless of the wife being a sex vixen when they were dating or a starfish. They get married and the result is the same: a sexless marriage.
once the legal status of wife is achieved, with the implied legal clout to become an affluent ex wife with a phone call to the lawyer, the job of sex partner is over.
dont marry w/o a prenup. dont ever buy a swimming pool prepaid, and dont get rescue pit bulls from the pound. if u do any of the above, eventually u will need a lawyer.

But is it really less sex? Or just less than they think they should be getting now that they are married?

This! Its terribly unfortunate but true for a lot (NOT ALL) of married women.

sounds like the obama explanation of the economy---" what problem?. u need to work on your attitude son." it takes skill to defend a meltdown.
42 million divorces since no fault,70% filed by women. women posters "what problem???" dear abby, my husband is internet cheating. counseling and meds? wow he is really sick. btw we have not had sex in 10 years.
in 50 years it has done a complete switch. 50 years ago, when the old man would take the wife to the MD to deal with her free bleeding issue, everytime he smacked her her nose would just not stop bleeding.

It seems it is less sex as many of them say they had sex more often when they were dating but once the relationship got serious it declined, then they got married and it decreased even more.
Marriage=less sex than dating
Kids=less sex than just dating-just being married

Men who want to continue to have the same amount of sex as when they were just dating...you do the math.
