seasonal camping within 2 hrs of raleigh (Welcome, White Oak: trailer, activities, park)

I am looking for a seasonal or yearly campground to put my 5th wheel--just brought it down from ny and want to place it here so we can get back to camping again--just luv to get away and relax around a nice camp fire--would like a family oriented park with activities and pool--within 2 hours of raleigh area. thanks

Kerr Lake? it's a very nice large lake! Probably less than two hours.

check out rvparkreviews.com and search for raleigh and surrounding areas. they have review comments from people that have used the camp grounds that you might find useful.

We have friends who have taken their travel trailer to kerr lake and they said it was very nice! The campground is actually listed as henderson nc, which is where parts of kerr lake are located.

White Oak Shores is slightly over 2 hours from you, but it's really nice.
