How to find a Medical Front Desk Position? (Durham, Cary: company, builder)

We moved to Cary from Austin, TX two weeks ago and I have been looking for a job ever since (actually started a month before we moved). In Austin I worked as an Executive Admin for the VP of a very large well known company, but I have always had my heart set on Medicine. I don't have any Front Desk experience is a medical setting, but do hold my Texas Emergency Medical Technician certification, which gives me medical knowledge.
I have been looking at Monster, Career Builder, Indeed, Craigslist...etc and have yet to come across a any legit openings for what I am looking for? Does anyone know of a different site that I could be looking? or are positions like that usually depending on who you know?
Most of the local hospitals have their own web sites for job listings. On my end of town there is Duke.edu and UNC.edu with many job postings. Both also have temp departments and it is usually pretty easy to get a temp position that turns into a permanent position. Try the web sites for Wake Med and Rex. Should you want to take some courses, both Durham Tech and Wake Tech have great programs.
