Been up and down Glenwood as well as a few other places around the area and there isn't squat. What few - and they are few - desks there are cost more than I'm willing, like starting $300-400 or a good bit more. Used to be you could get one, like those put-together types, and some weren't bad looking either, in the $100-200 range. Non-existant now?? What did everyone go off and get snooty about what kind of desk they have?

Target, though it's nothing fancy. Believe it or not check out JC Penney (you can look online).

? I don't recall seeing anything at target other than a child's desk. Needs to be at least an "adult" size, if that makes sense.

Checked JCP - with delivery they start around $400+.

Do you have Office Max down there?

Britara Desk

I don't know about down there but here in NY a lot of places that used to sell do-it-yourself stuff aren't in business anymore. Sometimes you can find stuff like this at Big Lots or a similar type store that sells overstocks.

Target, Office Max, Staples, ect if you are looking for particle board with laminate or molded plastic. You should be able to get something for between $75 and $150. I would expect to pay at least $300 if not more if you are looking at actual furniture stores and desire a real wood desk.

I just bought a solid wood dining room set and bookcase on Craigslist for $500. I'm sure you could find a desk on there!

I usually get mine at Office Max/Depot/Staples. This is the one I have now:

Mobile Computer Cart

It's on clearance.. I know I paid a lot more than $50 for mine when I got it!

Furniture to Go on Capital Boulevard sells Sauder furniture, which is good quality, assemble-it-yourself stuff.
