Indeed. Perhaps you alert all the highschools/middle/elementary schools of this! How dare these parents want a better school enviroment for their children! Shame on them, indeed! Busy body much?

Cheat? Are we talking about schools or cheating on homework?

I doubt your neighbors are the only ones that have done this. There are bigger issues than this in life.

To the tune of $2000.00 or more a year.

Our son is currently 3yrs old and will turn 4 in March. We are beginning to suspect that he might have ADA or ADHD. Unfortunately, because of his age, no one is willing to test him for this problem because they think he is "too young" for this type of disorder. In his short life, he has already been expelled from 1 day care center, pulled by us from the 2nd and is now on the verge of being asked to leave a 3rd center. Our Son is a very loving and sweet boy when he wants to be. However, he can't seem to follow directions, tends not to look you in the eye when being spoken too, doesn't answer to his name the first time you call him, refuses to participate in art or writing activities with his peers, has night terrors during nap time and wakes up at least once most nights. He hasn't completed his potty training yet, but he clearly understands the need for it. He is allergic to peanuts and has eczema which that alone makes life a little bit more difficult. My husband and I are about at the end of our rope. We would like any information on possible support groups to discuss this problem further.

A complete psychological evaluation will look at everything and not test just for ADD/ADHD. He is NOT too young to be evaluated and should be if
you have concerns. I think the schools serve 3 and up now so you could go that route or seek out a private evaluation.

The earlier/younger you get an evaluation and recommendations the better so keep looking for the right place. Your pediatrician should be able to give you a referral. Be persistent.

Also Project Enlightment is a good resource for info/advice.
(It has been awhile but I think they are still called the same name)
