I know it was a last minute thing at East Cary. I spoke with the principal (he's new this month). He said he put in a last minute application and it was just granted this week. However, I went to to the East Cary open house/meet the new principal since we decided to send my DD there so I knew it was being processed.
I'd email assignment and let them know if you are still interested. He seems very interested and proactive in getting enrollment numbers up!
Glad to hear there's a new Principal there! Is he new to the school entirely? Or just to the job?
I get a different answer every time I call or email enrollment, and they never actually answer my questions. Good thing I don't HAVE to send my kids to WCPSS if I choose not to.
He's sort of new to the school, he was a VP there when it first opened, he's been the principal at Northwoods since then and wanted to come back. Dr. Chisnall. Liked him a lot, PhD from UNC, from New Zealand, brings a lot of international experience with him, and seems very motivated.
Can anyone apply to Weatherstone or does it have to one of your original 5 or 6 schools? I haven't gotten my sons Wise ID yet so I cNt see through to all the pages that might answer my question. Thanks.
