Have any of the WCPSS teachers on this board receive their W-2 for 2011 yet? Can I get this information online somewhere? Thanks.

If you can access your pay account online, like via ADP, you should be able to see your W-2

I have checked online however wake county does not use ADP. No tax record is online as far as I can tell.

WCPSS is stuck in the dark ages as far as technology. The payroll staff has to stuff over 18,000 W'2's in envelopes. Talk about a waste of time and money.

Are you suggesting someone else should be doing it? W-2s are required to be mailed, as far as I know, even if one has access to an electronic copy.

I am suggesting they should be available online at this point. The pay stubs are...so why not the W-2's?. Also I have never received a mailed copy when mine was available online.

They're not mailed - they send them via WCPSS courier to the schools, and central office personal get theirs from their area's secretary. Saves on postage, but no clue how much driving to each school costs
