Shoveling broken glass out of your truck after a long day of fishing would definitely suck. I did see trucks parked overnight at Laishley the last time I stayed at the Wyvern, but it would only take one incident to make you sorry you did it.

Yes, Subaru Jim is a wise one. He has me convinced the next time we go far off shore, like to 75' of water, I will trailer to Placida ramp. This will save me the 40 mile round trip to/from Boca Grande Pass from my house. I'm down with that savings.

Hey, how has fishing been lately for all that have gone out? Has the up and down weather helped or hurt the fishing?

10-4 Fox. I have my daughter here for the holiday weekend but I do want to get together soon.
I plan on taking her to Siesta Beach today then some north Harbor fishing tomorrow if I can get her up early enough.

Are the catfish in the canals ok to eat? Being from Illinois they look like channel cats, but I seem to remember my brother saying they were not good to eat in Florida when he was at Homestead AFB.

Blah! I wouldn't eat 'em. There's much better stuff out there.

My Nephew is down and caught a few and has cleaned them, they will not harm him if he eats them will it?

No, they're not going to harm you. They just aren't very good eating-very bony.

Nah, you don't want to eat them. These aren't your channel catfish that you find at the fish market.
