Holy cats! Congrats on coming through OK. Best wishes for a speedy recovery. BTW, that hobby thing sounds like a great idea:-))

Glad to see that you caught it early on. It's amazing that with the advances the medical field has made you can be home a few days later.
Good luck with your recovery!

Speedy recovery, Pat! Glad your heart is still pumping. Doesn't surprise those of us who know you...your heart is so big, it would be hard to take down!

I fished today for the first time in too long. Launched before sunrise Ladyfish were popping at the mouth of e cutoff. Fun top water action. I caught my first Bull Shark on a top water Skitter Walk. 15 minute fight on 15 pound test but I landed him. 42" long and about 25 pounds. Likely very full of Ladyfish!

Looked for Reds, Trout and Snook in the northwest end of the cutoff but found none. Will start my snook hunt about 4:30 AM tomorrow. It's nice to get off the water by 11 and get in the pool the rest of the day!

I should have gone out today. Fishing just off the dock with frozen shrimp pieces, my daughter caught 5 catfish, 6 big mangrove snapper, 1 whiting, 1 ladyfish, 1 silver jenny, and a 20" redfish. We kept 2 big mangs, and threw them on the grill for lunch - gutted and scaled, olive oil, no-salt, pepper, and Chef Paul's Sodium Free Cajun. Stuff with lime slices and parsley, 8 min per side on a hot grill. Serve with blueberry-cantaloupe salad and ice cold Corona....now I'm hungry again.

Yes, I have pics, but in 20 or so tries I have never managed to get a pic to post on CD. I've figured out how to post pics on other sites, like the Key West Boat Owners forum, in less than 5 min, so I don't think it's me. I've tried the Photobucket thing, as suggested by others, but the only thing I've managed to post was a link to my entire album. I don't have anything to hide, but...

Thanks guys. Medical advancemants are amazing. The worst part was the stick on EKG contacts wouldn't stick in the emergency room so they couldn't get a good reading. When I went into the operating room they came off again and this team did not know so I heard the long beep and the head nurse yelled clear everyone jumped back she hit me wih those paddles and my attitude changed, now I am ready to fight. At the same time the Dr. is screaming NO He IS ALIVE and I am screaming I AM AWAKE. So they start transfering me from the gurney to the operating board and the contact lost contact I heard the long beep and she yelled clear Same thing Dr. Sceams NO HE IS ALIVE I aid I AM AWAKE and put my feet in her face she was not going to hit me again with those giant tazers I started getting up and one of the nurses says where are you going? I replied I am getting away from her. After that all went unbelievably uneventfull. I could see the picture when he put the stint in. There was absolutly no blood flow he said Ok MR.------ you should feel the pain go awy right now and I could see the flow going past where it was stopped and the pain quit.
