Giants preseason came out
Week 1 vs. Miami
Week 2 at Bills
Week 3 at Jets
Week 4 vs. Patriots
They are playing all four AFC West teams and frankly I don't know why they play the Jets every year along with the Patriots.

What's actually very interesting is that they're just playing the entire AFC East.

They play the Jets every year as a sort of "NYC" game. I have always assumed the played the Pats due to proximity. In the preseason, dont the Eagles-Steelers and Ravens-'Skins play each other every year as well?

They do. I understand why they might. 49ers and Raiders used to play each other in preseason until a fight broke out in the stands at Candlestick. Now 49ers play San Diego. Rams used to play the Chiefs in the preseason just like Tampa Bay-Miami and Cowboys-Texans.

Any thoughts on the Giants draft?

I am okay with most of it, but my main issue is still the Eli Apple pick. This pick might turn out well a little down the road, and the Giants needed more quality depth at the position. However, I feel like it set the draft back a little. I felt like the Giants still needed to get a starting caliber offensive lineman out of this draft, preferably a right tackle. I have had no problem with each subsequent pick as the draft has progressed, but that Oline issue hasnt been addressed.

That all said, what lineman was worth being picked at #10? I love WR Sterling Sheperd being taken in the second round, but I dont think a WR was worth taking at #10 either. I am not high on Apple at 10, but I am not sure what else would have been worth it at that slot, either.

Yep. You could only imagine what other kind of trouble LT would have gotten himself into if social media was around in the 80's.

Any thoughts Giants fans before the season starts? I found the (re) signing of Will Beatty interesting. I know the Giants are being stubborn and keeping Flowers at the left tackle slot, but really, wouldnt it make sense to put Beatty back at LT (provided he is in shape) and Flowers at the right tackle. I suppose it is really too late to do that now since the season is less than two weeks away, and flipping sides means learning new footwork...
