China has signed on for tougher sanctions against Iran at the nuclear summit. Russia has signed the treaty.

In addition, more nations have agreed to curtail production. A gain, small at first and in the right direction. I wonder how he and his team do it. They are seriously winners.

Could it be that treating other Nations with respect, may have something to do with it?

Pretty much shatters the illusion that President Obama has done nothing his first 18 months.

Could it be that China and Russia have their own interests in mind and they would play ball no matter who the POTUS is? I'd say the answer to that one has to be YES.

No doubt they do. However I believe that he is charismatic and has the edge on this one which ultimately will be good. China uses Iran's oil. last thing they want is a war....

Grovelling gets you small concessions. At least on paper, but few would be gullible enough( besides Obama) to think China or Russia or Iran would honor any agreements.

North Korea has endorsed this type of action many times and you can see how they follow it.

Remember, a "stragegic victory" of this type is just double speak for a failure. Wait for the true results prior to proclaiming the one as savior of the entire world.

You're celebrating because China agreed to enter into discussions? Exactly what they did with Bush three times, and then didn't follow through with anything of substance. When they agree to binding sanctions, let us know.

Skepticism and healthy rewarded with a wait and see attitude. I'm down with that. Do they act in their own selfish self interest? you bet. Are they treacherous? No doubt, both countries have seen millions of their citizens killed and that has an effect. I am saying that if accurate, sanctions endorsed could lead to success and avoid a horrifying war to horrifying to contemplate.

Nickel on the new guy. Ante up.
