No he was fired for being politically incorrect. He said nothing racist, and his knowledge of football stands on its own.

He made a race based allegation (with absolutely nothing to support his race based claim) and was canned for it. He was the one who bought up race in the discussion about McNabb.

His coments about McNabb were some of the dumbest comments I have ever heard on ESPN!! You can try to defend him all you want but I can promise you he will never be approved to be a part owner in any NFL team. The media would rip him apart with sound bytes all the time, and the distractions from those sound bytes would kill any teams chances of being a dynasty!!!

I think the movie "Jerry McGuire" was a fair representation of the world of Pro Football. If Rush can "show them the money" they probably couldn't care less about the man or his politics.

I am sick and tired of people playing the race card. stop whinning all ready the only racist are the ones that keep bringing it up every chance they get they are the true racist
Name a team with a white owner (most teams, I suppose) that is being threatened with a boycott by black players.

Yep, none.

But reverse-racism is the only thing you could come up with, eh? Can't think of any other reason why black players would despise Rush?

LOL yeah I am sure if a player is offered millions and no other team wants them they will be there with a smile on their face. It is all about the money.

And they'll probably free up two seats for every one person not attending.

bringing up race does not make you a racist and warrant being fired. Mcnabb should have manned up and said so.

An all-white team would be dismal!!!!!!!!!!!!! There wouldnt be nearly enough speed, they would be lousy at the running back, reciever, defensive line, and secondary positions!!!!!!!!!!!!
