Well some folks don't care about those pesky constituents, its all about toting the party line. I called 911 to preemptively get her some medical attention when they try to throw her under the bus and drive back and forth over her.

I think they are enough moderate Republicans who have been tossed under this bus that they could either reclaim their party or start another and have a majority.

when republicans/democrats do something like this, it is because they have a heart and a conscience, something the republicans know nothing about

I have a strong feeling that your idea of "heart" is someone wiping your *ss for you. Democrats are void of a concience and heart which allows them to push abortion right up to the time of birth and for hussein obama he even believes a baby should be left ot die with no assistance if they survive a butal abortion.

You must be VERY young.

Because they -- like everybody else -- knew the screw-up Republicans were going to go down in flames. Who wants to waste money on a bunch of guaranteed losers?

Just admit it; it is not the GOP that is giving obamacare the boot - it is his own party.
Apparently you can't count. The Democrats currently have 58 Senators.

Apparently, you don't pay attention.

The two indies caucus with the dems. Sanders is a sure vote. Joe the Patriot, maybe not.

Counting Sanders & Lieberman would make it 59 not 60. They might have 60 shortly if MA votes to allow Patrick to appoint an interim Senator to fill Kennedy's vacamt seat till the special election in January, but now they do not have the 60.

The Democrats do not have 60 seats in the Senate. Whether they can get 60 vote for cloture is speculative. No "Independent" vote is a sure thing.

Good, I never liked it either.
There is a big difference between trying to act in a bi-partisan manner..and completely giving up everything you stand for...
