Another lie and broken promise from the left wing leaders.
On September 24, Speaker Nancy Pelosi told THE WEEKLY STANDARD that she was "absolutely" committed to putting the text of the final House bill online for 72 hours before the House votes:
TWS: Madam Speaker, do you support the measure to put the final House bill online for 72 hours before it's voted on at the very end? PELOSI: Absolutely. Without question.
I don't think she broke her word this time. I will believe the vote is going to come Saturday when it happens. She may well decide that with the two election losses and the turnout at the protest in DC today that the votes may not be there for Saturday. She can call the day and she can put it off, as she chooses and I bet she calls it off.

You might just be correct as any dem who signs this and is up for re-election next year will be toast.
It's obvious this morning the House Dems don't yet have the votes to pass this monstrosity as it exists now. I would guess that, even if Pelosi still lacks the votes tomorrow, Americans won't see anything until it's passed. The Dems call this transparent government.

When will they stop the lying????
Since 0bama and Pelosi took over the presidency, both houses of congress, with the super majority, they have been anything but magnanimous. Instead they chose to employ the tyranny of the majority. Pelosi has never been civil, never bi-partisan, and she has not demonstrated any integrity. Tyrants do not need to be magnanimous, and principles like integrity and honesty are not required.
For months now, the republicans have been telling Americans that the democrats can not be trusted with being in the majority, because they place partisanship, lust for power, contempt for those who offer a different opinion and disregard for the truth, and Pelosi and 0bama have only been validating these concerns.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi's office tells THE WEEKLY STANDARD that the speaker will not allow the final language of the health care to be posted online for 72 hours before bringing the bill to a vote on the House floor, despite her September 24 statement that she was "absolutely" committed to doing so.
We are talking about a 2,000 page bill that may cost upwards of $3 trillion dollars, and just as the republicans have trying to warn us, these democrats are trying every dirty trick to ram it down our throats.
Pelosi does not care, she could start spouting Maoist propaganda and her approval numbers for her district in San Fran will still be in the 90s. So she has no qualms with breaking all the rules, breaking promises, bankrupting the nation, or forcing other democrats to go along with her agenda, even though she knows it will end their political careers.
As an aside, I may be wrong, but it seems like this adminstration tries to pass many of its bills on weekends. Have other administrations done this as frequently as the current one?
It just seems weird to have the votes on Friday nights (stimulus) and weekends. Is it purposefully done to prevent media evaluation of the bill and its last minute admendments until Monday?

This administration does lots of hot issue document dumps on Fridays. TI believe they also fired Van Jones at 2:00AM on the weekend, so maybe they will move towards the wee hours on Sundays.
