You might want to look at the make up of the incoming Congress. Plenty of rightwing elected officials to spew your hatred and divisiveness for you, sxr, so don't despair that the left has an advantage in that sphere. And I expect we'll hear a whole lot of hate coming from Congress in the next two years.
Why the fairness doctrine? The left can buy airtime and do the same. But nobody will listen to them on the radio. Why do always want the govt to do something. How about the govt mandate that 1/2 the teachers be male. If the ratio for teachers was reversed , big brother would step in and give free stuff to make more women become teachers. Why do some people want the govt to do everything. Remember the simple thing the kids are told but adults don't get: life is not fair!

When are we going to do something about all the Nazis and racist that have taken over the AM band of the radio? It is no wonder we are seeing racist attacks and abortion doctors being murdered when you have people on the radio like Hannity, Limbaugh, Savage, Gallager and the like on there all the time spewing hate at certain segments of the country and the President. It is time to start bringing back some balance on the radio by reimposing the Fairness Doctrine.
Just today some racist attacked the Halocaust Museum because he doesn't like the Jews. Immigrants have been attacked, blacks have been attacked, abortion docs killed in church and at home and there is little doubt in my mind that much of this is encouraged by talk radio and its venomous right wing extreme host.

I think Rush Limbaugh, Hannity, and Anne Coulter are horrible excuses for human beings, however we cannot censor them, censorship is WRONG. Censorship is like banning books, backwards and foolish.

Just because there isn't a large presence of leftwing propaganda in the talk radio medium does not mean there isn't a large presence of leftwing propaganda in other media. You demonstrate the leftwing existence of dittoheads by not having the independent critical thinking process to recognize your own sources of propaganda. Apparently to you if it's on the right wing then it's propaganda for simpletons but if it's on the left wing then it's simply accurate news and commentary. Sorry, but it doesn't work like that. On the right wing you have dittoheads and on the left wing you have sheeple and useful idiots. They're the same thing just on different ends of the political spectrum.

Yes, I'm sure that appeals to your typical liberal fantasy of being a superior enlightened being to us redneck racist hick conservatives. However, here in reality the proliferation of rightwing talk radio is more a reaction to the dominance of leftwing philosophy within other media. When mainstream education, entertainment, and news are already slanted towards your perspective then you don't need to use talk radio as a counter to it. It's really as simple as that.

You know the types of attacks you described, if added up in total, would be almost nothing compared to the total number people killed in the US.
I'm seeing a thread almost 6 years old, with an OP that has been banned for a long time and has a new user name today.
Not just the OP. While doing a quick scan and spot read of the first half of this thread I counted nine people in total who have been banned. I can't believe the subject is being discussed again since it seemed quite well chewed up years ago. Oh well! Clearly, nothing much has changed since June of 2009. Conservatives still predominate on talk radio, liberals still grouse about it and each still argues with and insults the other on C-D.
No!! We need to deal with liberals that are trying to take away our rights as American's now . If you want to live in a country that is willing to take away your rights... please leave.
