Unbridled capitalism? What planet do you live on?

You sit around screaming about Obama's march to socialism, and then you claim that China is an unbridled capitalist economy... oh brother!

Their stimulus is paid for by hard earned savings, not promises of worthless IOUs paying pathetic interest rates.

"unbridled" is relative here. Corporations and small businesses have MUCH fewer regulations and thus all many players in the game. How many semiconductor mom and pops? How many manufacturing mom and pops? Yes, unbridled relative to rampant fascist corporatism here.

It's not socialism Obama approves of in the economy, it's fascism. Socialism for the people, fascism for business.

Most of the ones who claim that China couldn't possibly gobble up the goods they used to send to us.

I'm sure they're through being generous after lending us trillions we'll never pay back and exhausting the productivity of a decade.

Sounds real good but like anything......ya get what ya pay for.
I would tend to agree with you. But if I had to guess, I'd say there was probably at some point some anti-Japanese sentiment when the Honda Civic was first introduced. Ask GM/Ford/Chrysler if Honda buyers are "getting what they paid for"?

I wouldn't be so quick to wholesale reject Chinese quality just yet. They may pull the rug right out from under U.S. automakers. I certainly hope not.

One of the fruits of pragmatism which has resulted
in increased wages and strengthening of the middle class. Similar story in India. This while both aspects have shrunk in America since the 80s.

unbridled??? Are you able to read or just stuck on know it all mentality? Chinese impose oppressive restrictions, and did resort to price control subsidy to their own detriment when oil was selling at $100 bbl. Too bad you've got selective attention deficit disorder. You kill our country with that nonsense keeping everyone stuck on stupid. Good job sporto.
