While the usual right wing blowhards are employing every bit of hyperbole they can muster to tell you about the end of the world, the economy has been improving and we've got good news coming in from all over the place.

Quote:
Signs that the U.S. job market thawed in November jumpstarted the gains. ADP Employer Services, a payroll company, said small businesses added the largest amount of workers in three years last month, well ahead of what analysts had forecast....Greg Walker, a global investment strategist at J.P. Morgan Private Bank, said the ADP report gave traders confidence that the overall U.S. employment rate will fall. The Bureau of Labor Statistics will release the November unemployment rate on Friday morning.....In other economic news, the Institute of Supply Management said its index of manufacturing activity rose in November for the 16th month.

A new survey by the Federal Reserve finds that 10 of the Fed's 12 regions reported economic growth picking up. All told, the new survey offered a marginally brighter picture of the economy over the past six weeks. Stronger production at factories helped propel growth in most parts of the country, the new survey said. Makers of fabricated metals and autos and related goods saw the biggest gains.

Manufacturing has been one of the strongest sectors of the economy since the recession ended. After slowing over the summer, factories have picked up in recent months as auto sales have grown and businesses are investing in industrial machinery and other equipment. "American factories are catching a second wind as consumers start to flex their wallets," Sal Guatieri, an economist at BMO Capital Markets, said.

ADP Employer Services said employment at private companies jumped by 93,000 in November as small businesses added the largest amount of workers in three years. Meanwhile, a survey affiliated with the Chinese government said its measure rose to 55.2 in November from 54.7 in October.

Stocks are rising because people are fleeing the bond market. If it was an indication of economic growth both markets would be growing..

Some people prefer to look at ALL of the information and not bits and pieces of it and celebrate.

The stock market rose 52% during the great depression, I bet you thought things were fantastic then...

The economy always was/is going to come back. It was just a question of how long and how much pain there is on the way.

From August 11 no less, lol.

Listen, I know it sucks to admit it, but the economy is coming back. The snow is melting and the sun is starting to peek out from behind the clouds.

You'll be back here in about a year claiming the GOP turned the ship around I'm sure.

Cry me a river.

You want health care insurance from private health insurance corporations that operate to make a PROFIT, this is what you get.

They are stiffing you and telling you it's Obama's fault while they are laughing all the way to the bank with their stock options and multi-million dollar bonuses.

Let me ask you this?

Don't you like to get kissed while you are being f**ked!
