UN Rapporteur: Initiate criminal proceedings against Bush and Rumsfeld now—By Scott Horton (Harper's Magazine) (http://harpers.org/archive/2009/01/hbc-90004250 - broken link)
“The evidence is sitting on the table,” he stated. “There is no avoiding the fact that this was torture.” He pointed to the U.S. undertakings under the Convention Against Torture in which the country committed that it would criminally prosecute anyone who tortured, or extradite the person to a state that would prosecute him. “The government of the United States is required to take all necessary steps to bring George W. Bush and Donald Rumsfeld before a court,” Nowak said.

Let's hope something concrete comes of this. At this point just exposong all of this to the light of day will be a positive thing for the United States and the rest of the world. After the facts become ubiquitous, there can be no more denial of what crimes and atrocities have been committed in our name.

Reason: fixed quote
Yea you can have President Bush but you have to get through the US military first. Not going to happen.
I thought that the military is getting their orders from President Obama now. Are they willing to disobey orders to defend a man who got many of their friends killed?
All bickering aside.. isn't the US real obligated to turn him over if requested? Imagine the can of worms that would open if the request were made.
Only if Obama chose not to investigate Bush in the US which not really a possiblity. They will either ignore the Law or set up an investigation here at home.
