They won't have to come in here and do a damn thing if Obama enforces the law himself.

No they haven't, and a search of "supreme court torture" at news.google.com does not reveal anything remotely similar to what you said.

That will never happen. Hand over a President to another government body for crimes, come on.

Don't call me a liar, I've watched it on two news channels today, I don't care about your search.

UN Rapporteur: Initiate criminal proceedings against Bush and Rumsfeld now—By Scott Horton (Harper's Magazine) (http://harpers.org/archive/2009/01/hbc-90004250 - broken link)

"In an interview on Tuesday evening with the German television program “Frontal 21,” on channel ZDF Professor Manfred Nowak, the United Nations Rapporteur responsible for torture, stated that with George W. Bush’s head of state immunity now terminated, the new government of Barack Obama was obligated by international law to commence a criminal investigation into Bush’s torture practices.

“The evidence is sitting on the table,” he stated. “There is no avoiding the fact that this was torture.” He pointed to the U.S. undertakings under the Convention Against Torture in which the country committed that it would criminally prosecute anyone who tortured, or extradite the person to a state that would prosecute him. “The government of the United States is required to take all necessary steps to bring George W. Bush and Donald Rumsfeld before a court,” Nowak said.
I don't know if I am reading this wrong, but all it says is George and Co. need to be brought before "a" court. I don't think they are even asking for any kind of extradition. They are simply saying we need to handle our affairs at home just as we would handle foreign countries affairs for them. They want us to prosecute George W. Bush for his crimes.

Now, that being said I seriously doubt there is an executive order somewhere signed by GW himself giving anyone permission to torture anyone. I am no fan of Bush but I do not believe he would be stupid enough to directly link himself to torture. He may have had knowledge of these types of activities taking place, but for all intents and purposes unless we hear a confession of guilt from Mr. Bush himself there is simply no case. We can throw money at it and try every angle imaginable there will always be room for reasonable doubt, especially since we are talking about the former head of our nation. If Bush doesn't volunteer some confession of guilt there is no point in persuing this any further. I feel like Bush did wrong while in office, but my "feelings" are not enough to convict any man for any crime.

And sorry, but I do feel like this is an American issue to be dealt with by Americans. One of the biggest problems with our world today is this constant move to allow other countries in the world to weigh in on issues that take place in other countries. We take part in the system ourselves and it is simply ridiculous. It is a blatant sign of the agenda, which is "globalization". The World Court is already in place. How long before they start superceding sovereignty to accomplish their goals? If we start letting the world tell us how to run our country we will cease to be "this" country. We will join the ranks and eventually be just another zone on the New World map. No extradition, we will handle our own problems if there is indeed enough evidence to prosecute.

I don't know if you're a liar or a person with minimal reading/listening comprehension or a person who can't distinguish between your wishes and reality. In any case, what you said happened didn't happen.

Obama's DOJ can prosecute Bush domestically and there would be no need to extradite him. Although I'm practically salivating at the thought of him being extradited to the Hague like the criminal thug he is.

My attention span of 9/11 seems to be better than most. I could care less what the UN thinks.
