Correct, it's not going to happen and it shouldn't happen, Bush is out of office and the people who hate him should just get over it.

So you believe the lawfulness of his actions isn't relevant to anything? This country ain't a dictatorship, the last time I checked.

Also there is ample evidence to start an investigation.

We're not so quick to honor international law or UN obligations when it comes to one of our own.

However, Obama is obligated by the oath he took to "protect and defend the Constitution." If we do what we're supposed to believe in - you know that "rule of law" stuff - I think the UN will be satisfied. So will I.

True. And nobody should be above the law... it sets a dangerous precedent.

This is the kind of issue I find interesting. It really separates the "true conservatives" from these pretenders who have taken over the GOP. Basically, lawless authoritarians for whom anything goes as long as their side is the one doing the lawbreaking.

So what is it? The Rule of Law, or Bush with get out of jail free card?

Apparently the GOP loves a fascist dictator. Musselini 2012. We are supposedly a country of laws not men (unless someone scares the **** out of you then all bets are off!!!)

The "true believers" of the GOP aren't lawless but they are authoritarians. I would say they are cynical authoritarians.

Don't kid yourself that Bush is the only president to allow these interrogations of prisoners, it happens around the clock no matter who is in office, including Obama, If you want to we can raise a white flag and surrender now.

Like the security of our Nation depends on torturing?

[How low we have sunk to have citizens like this? Full blown ignorance combined with no shame whatsoever in commiting war crimes]
