There's lots of rhetoric from the left regarding an arms export ban, however other than the US and Germany, most of the West don't even supply that much to Israel.

Israel is a technologically advanced nation, with it's own arms industry and has always been a US ally, in a region where the US has very few staunch allies, and Russia and China have already established increasing influence in the region, and have close relations with Iran.

In terms of the bigger picture, it's in US and Western interests to maintain good relations with Israel, as the bigger picture is in relation to enemies of the West such as Iran, a country that is increasingly backed by US adversaries such as Russia and China.

In this respect Joe is now trying to engage with the Saudi's, a country that the US needs along side Israel in order to counter the likes of Iran.

Sadly in the past bungling Biden upset by calling a pariah nation, and the the Saudi leader Prince Mohammed bin Salman recently held conversations earlier this week with Donald Trump rather than Biden.

Donald Trump has first known chat with Saudi leader Prince Mohammed bin Salman since leaving White House, as Biden administration works to try and score Israeli peace deal - Daily Mail (4th April 2024)

Biden was also left humiliated by the Saudi's in the pastm when he had to go to Saudi Arabia try to apologise and do a u-turn following his pariah commentsm in order to try and secure lower oil prices, although it didn't do any good, and ultimately just made him look pathetic and weak.

As for the recent tragic deaths of Aid workers in Gaza is extremely sad, it's no different to numerous similar deaths that have occurred in other conflicts and continue to occur in war zones across the globe.

It also should be noted that US and West are no strangers to illegal wars themselves, as well as friendly fire incidents, drone and aerial attacks etc resulting in the deaths of numerous innocent kill civilians.

Whilst the Islamic World is also no stranger when it comes to such behaviour, and such events are not just unique to Israel and it's people, so I think some of the rhetoric and criticism has been well over the top.

He's the laughing stock of the planet. Even the president of Mexico is pushing him around. Biden can't even dress himself anymore and he's not telling anyone what to do. I can hear his attempt now..

It is cat and a dog of war and time to eat pickles because I was raised by Sasquatch who lead the labor unions on the moon. God Bless Run Pancakes!

Bibi Netanyahu will not bow to any pressure from President Biden for a ceasefire while Israeli hostages are being held in Gaza for over 6 months. Israel will probably invade Rafah at some point in order to finish off the rest of the current Hamas military structure in Gaza. International pressure is unlikely to change this outcome.

Biden has turned into yet another anti-Semitic utter moron. As opposed to an ordinary moron that he's been for decades. A "ceasefire" is a surrender to Hamas. Anyone with an IQ higher than that of an intestinal parasite knows that.

Here's a thought. Why doesn't Biden, and all those others that profess so much concern for the "people of Gaza" (that voted Hamas into power solely because they promised the extermination of Israelis and the elimination of Israel) try this. Demand that:

1) Hamas surrenders unconditionally

2) Every hostage is immediately released

3) Every butcher involved with the atrocities of 10/7 is turned over for trial for crimes against humanity. Including all Hamas and UNRWA leadership. They need to be held accountable, as the Nazis were at Nuremberg. The horrors committed that day exceed anything the Nazis did.

4) Set up an impartial international tribunal to hold these trials. Not the UN, and not one with any affiliation to any Islamic nation. Again-along the lines of Nuremberg. Why not hold them in Israel you might ask? Israel doesn't use capital punishment, and the vile filth that committed those crimes must be put down.

Even Pelosi has stepped up to tell Biden to stop shipping weapons to Israel

Biden is a hypocrite even to his own party

I hope Bibi finishes the job, & tells Biden to take a nap. The USA isn't the only place weapons can be bought.

The entire Middle East wants this job finished....except Iran, and everyone hates Iran.

Israel has fought its way all the way to the Hamas nest...Hamas has no place else to run & hide...they are out of real estate.

aren't there laws against U.S. politicians meddling in the official affairs of foreign countries?

Yep, and our Hamas-supporting Democrats rejoice!

Not sure why Democrats are always so nasty and sour-faced; seems like they’ve been getting pretty much everything they want lately. They can add a victory for Hamas to the list of achievements for Joe Biden!
