You have to have a legal process and we have to regulate who comes into the country. Even nation on earther does this, there's no reason why we shouldn't either.
I would say that, A country’s immigration policy can have significant influence on the outcome. Singapore has a very business-oriented immigration policy which benefits the country. The United States’ immigration policy has been outdated for close to half a century and is thereby dysfunctional, which has been a major source of the controversy and problems related to immigration in the U.S.

Seriously, stop it. They are illegal alien opportunists, not immigrants or refugees.
Laughs at the person calling asylum seekers illegal.

I heard argument like immigrants or illegal immigrants lead to robust economy, hmm,

If that were true, someone would have won Nobel prize by proving that. It would make that country virtually recession-proof. Just let more immigrants in and voila!- the economic ills would be cured. Unfortunately, it does not work that way. Germany admitted more than 1 million refugees, without any uptick in its economic activity.

Homeland Security chief says 90% of asylum seekers miss court dates
The acting Homeland Security secretary said on Tuesday that 90 percent of asylum seekers are missing their court dates after being released into the US.

Acting Secretary Kevin McAleenan told the Senate Judiciary Committee that a new pilot program resulted in thousands of families ditching their scheduled hearings, according to Fox News.

“We see too many cases where people are not showing up,” McAleenan said, referring to the program.

“Out of those 7,000 cases, 90 received final orders of removal in absentia, 90 percent.”

Of course most don't show up for their hearings. It's a well-known fact. You can find any group of think tank that will say it's not true, but people know the real deal.

Asylum seekers who enter the US illegally are illegal aliens until such time as an immigration court says otherwise.

There is a difference between a lot more people entering this country illegally than have in the past versus the term "open border". Maybe learn the difference. The term "open border" is just a stupid moniker used by the anti-illegals crowd to make themselves feel better. The US does not have open borders.

well ending all welfare programs isn't the answer now is it? How do YOU KNOW how many may or may not starve if ALL welfare programs end as you so eloquently stated?
