Its war, you lose men and equipment. Even the pilot with "The Right Stuff" Chuck Yeager got shot down before he was made legend by Tom Wolfe

well let's see..the glsdb were a bust...abrams tanks the same..will the f-16s suffer the same fate?..Ukraine is running out of troops..zelinski should have started the draft when zuluzni wanted him to..instead he got fired..zelinski is turning out to be as bad of a military war time leader as Biden..things aren't looking good for the ukes on the home front..and although russia is losing over 1,000 troops a day on the battlefield, they are still gaining ground..and the war grinds on..

They are donated at the front line by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. To be displayed in Moscow, to show, how mighty UAF is.
Here's a small video presentation on the topic:

Soon to be joined by F-16, or what's left of them.

The unemployment rate is Russia is effectively 0%. Every manufacturer in every industry has openings.

Prisons have been emptied and in some instances closed because everyone was sent to fight. That means any future army recruits will have to come from industry.

Russia is looking at a choice. They can leave Ukraine now and lose Crimea with it, or stay and watch their economy collapse. Even winning this war would not save Russia.

Don't forget about continues exit by those leaving the country in order to avoid being drafted/arrested.

Yes..thousands of men have left Ukraine rather than be drafted and Ukraine has made some moves on that.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/world...es-men-abroad/

Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry said Tuesday that it has suspended consular services for Ukrainian men of military fighting age who have left the country, potentially cutting off their ability to renew passports or access other essential citizen services.

Thousands of Ukrainian men are believed to have left their country rather than risk being drafted to help defend against Russia’s continuing invasion, even though martial law bars men age 18 and over from traveling abroad. Thousands of others were already living abroad, typically to work or study, when Russia invaded in February 2022.

Meh... That's what you would do if your country was invaded, isn't it?....... Leave?
Some people stay and fight; some don't.

There is no war in Russia. The war is someplace else. Maybe Russian men are just not so confident they can win, or maybe they think winning a war and then occupying a foreign country is just not in their self interest.
Neither country has enough men. Kind of odd, though, how a country with 44M people can hold off a country with 144M.

It's not exactly about the "country" - it's about the government, what it stands for, what ideas its regime is based upon.

Some believe and support its ideology, some don't.
