Looks like they have done it at least 5 times recently…

With Ukraine's spring offensive struggling severely in the first couple weeks there has been some words exchanged where the US said Ukraine didn't get trained properly and Ukraine saying that the US donates old equipment that needs repairs.

Biden is now open to sending F-16s, something he previously said would mean WW3.

It is easier to defend then attack so that advantage has shifted from Ukraine to Russia at the moment, but it is early still in the offensive and Ukraine is changing strategies.

You’re just saying that because people had an imagination that the Ukrainian counteroffensive would result in a land recovery in a week or two. This is still on-going and the major push is not here yet. The supply of weapons and machinery will be endless.

Push for peace, use diplomacy, that should be our only objective. Unfortunately that may not be possible under this administration, but the public can make them feel the pressure. Public support for this war has been dropping big time among all western countries.
Push for peace and Russia and other Putin get to keep the lands they stole. Then I’m about 3-5 years, the Kremlin will make another push to steal even more land, de-stabilizing the world even more. Russia will try to steal further land from other neighbors - their little SMO will be endless.

That’s the “peace” you want?

No reward for the country that has stolen lands.

Once Crimea is taken back maybe Russia will get serious about negotiating a complete withdrawal if they want to keep their naval base in Sevastopol

The 6 Day War and Desert Storm has really effected the public's perception of war. "Home by Christmas" and enlistment for a few months was being thought of as a possibility again.

To be fair I did think the the Russian armored forces would link up with their airborne forces at the airport outside of Kyiv last year

Last year, Ukraine had a peace treaty ratified in Turkey. You apparently missed my post on Putin presenting that signed treaty during his African trip. Then, Russia pulled forces from Kyiv followed by Kyiv saying - oh, thank you, back to fighting.

West was not interested in short term war. West is interested in LONG TERM war. Wars are good business, long wars are excellent business. Just read, how much money US military industrial complex is making now, that demand for weapons jumped up several fold.

QUI BONO.
