State and federal legislators introduce hundreds- thousands of bills each year. Most go no place, fast.
19 million people are not going to flee the state.

For the millionth time, when the government controls companies, they are essentially taking over the means of all production. What’s really the difference between Democrat mandates, taxes, excess regulations and China? No difference. Anyone not complying is fined and or jailed.
Why anyone would vote D is beyond me. This is what the Dems want. Absolute power.
Because unfortunately their policies(economics, infrastructure, healthcare, etc) are popular with the majority of this country. They are also hated less than the Republicans.
The problem is they cater too much to the right to water down those policies, because they don't want to be called commies. So we're stuck with neo-liberalism which has been garbage for this country.

To boil it down: if the Governor thinks you're a health risk, he can lock you up. This is tyranny. This must not be allowed to happen anywhere in the United States of America. Anyone who would even submit such a bill should be impeached and removed from office immediately. As long as New York State is a part of this country, this tyranny must be stopped. If they want to secede and form their own country, then they can do whatever they want, as long as they give enough time for actual Americans to flee before they seal up their borders.
The last four eliminating parental consent and allowing for the state to arrest anybody it seems a health risk are the ones I’m against. Arbitrarily being able to lock someone up like that is just asking for North Korean style snitching. And I don’t understand what possibly could the the motivation to lessen parental involvement with regards to medical decisions.
The rest of it? Eh, we were going to get the shots anyway. It’s insulting to have daddy tell you do do something we were going to do anyway, but no more than that. I’ve no base-level objection to masking or vaccines.
I’m neutral on religious exemptions. I’ve no dog in that hunt.
I can’t vote in NY nor would I be listened to as I don’t live there. But I am moving there next year and I can tell you I’m not voting for more gub’ment or bureaucracy.

That’s been proposed a gajillion times over the years…ain’t happening. Never.
The Hitler governors need to pull back the reigns and give more control to local governments.
In the near future many/most of those vaccines will likely use mRNA technology. And the vaccines given to children are not chosen by politicians or ordinary citizens, they are chosen by scientists and medical groups like the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Currently the "AAP recommends COVID-19 vaccination for all children and adolescents 5 years of age and older who do not have contraindications using a COVID-19 vaccine authorized through an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA)."
And scientists are already testing and studying mRNA vaccine use in children under 5. And scientists with concerns about mRNA vaccines in children are already recommending the vaccine for young children during COVID outbreaks (the main scientific concern with children and mRNA vaccines is the dosage they should be given.)
