The Australians who post here like having their freedoms taken away by their government. They like being martyrs for the cause of "saving lives."
If I were an Australian, I would be highly reluctant to post criticism of their government, even on an anonymous internet forum. You might end up getting questioned by the police or thrown in jail.

Aussies have a long tradition of fine community life saving institutions, the Rural Fire Service (all volunteer), the Surf Life Saving Association (all volunteer) and the SES, State Emergency Services, who will save your arse or your house in storms and other natural disasters (all volunteer). It's kinda how we roll.
Maybe you should try it sometime, might knock some of the cynical off.

The FPO has nothing to do with Aussie Cossack owning or wanting to own a firearm. It's the government's way of being able to stop him, search him and search his home without any warning and without any cause. It's a nice little tool they're using to harass people who are shining a light on the what's going on.

Aussie Coasaks real name is Simeon Boikov, he is a part of the Russian Nationalist Movement in Australia, and is an avid supporter of Vladmir Putin. If Australia really was a police state he would have been locked up or deported long ago.
Oh and also notice the date of the video, 15th February 2021, people everywhere, businesses open, people walking around freely without masks and freely allowed to protest for and against the stance, everything you would associate with a police state.

There were a tonne of incidents like that during the “protests” in Melbourne.
“Protesters” jumped on cars on the freeway, terrifying people inside, assaulted a family picnicking with small children in a park because they were wearing masks, threw bottles fill with urine at the cops, and ended up at The Shrine of Remembrance where about 400 of them stood off with police for about 4 hours, drinking beer, leaving beer cans and pee and cigarette butts all over it when they finally moved on.
Anyone familiar with the ANZAC story in Oz will know just how deeply offensive that behaviour is to regular Aussies.
There were about 2,000 angry mostly young men who have been agitated on social media by anti vax anti trade union and anti government very far right wing groups.
They weren’t your working tradies who actually have a legitimate stance on vaccine mandates and work place closures, that they have businesses to run and families to feed.
These were thuggy disgusting agitators who spat on nurses, and dismantled a vax station set up to serve the homeless and at risk population of Melbourne, and medical staff were advised not to wear their uniforms or lanyards in public because these “men” were assaulting those they saw as part of the vaccine establishment.
Ironically, one of the charming gentlemen has ended up admitted to hospital with a nasty case of Covid. Wonder if his bravado stretched to abusing nurses while under their care. I’d wager not.
You paint a picture that seems black and white, all protestors are loser criminals. Seems there’s pieces missing. I can’t believe all Australians are either one extreme or the other.
The protesters are blocking streets, impeding traffic!
More should be thrown into jail, otherwise lawlessness will prevail!
