Debate commission adopts new rules to mute microphones to allow Trump, Biden 2 minutes of uninterrupted time per segment.

Hmm should be interesting. Not sure Trump will agree to it.

Why is the commission changing rules unilaterally? Rules have to be agreed by BOTH sides and last time I check it was already agreed and not subject to change...

So who's going to mute the biased moderator from interrupting during that same 2 minutes....??

Uninterrupted must include the moderator from saying anything during that time or it's all the same BS as before.

Good, I'm glad the debate commission declined to host another national disgrace and demanded a clean, respectful, fair debate with equal time or none at all.

The rules have not been changed. They are just explaining how they will enforce the mutually agreed to rules.

Trump has a problem with rules applying to him, so I imagine he’ll cry and whine about it. But ultimately the debate is the last chance he has to turn things around, so he’ll do it.

Both candidates agreed originally not to not interrupt each other well it failed so the commission can enforce the rules.
