Clarifying how the commission intends to enforce the rules is not changing the rules.

Uninterrupted must include the moderator from saying anything during that time or it's all the same BS as before.

Each debater is supposed to get two minutes. Trump didn't follow the rules of the first debate and it made him look like an idiot and made everyone wish someone would have enforced the two minute rule. If I wanted to just hear Trump speak I'd go to a Trump speech but this is supposed to be a debate between two people. The object of a debate is to hear both sides.

Will they also mute the Moderators microphone?

Seems right to me.

^^^^This.

If Trump can be confident that he can say WHATEVER he wants during his two minutes, without having to fight off a tag-team attack led by the moderator, then this should be acceptable.

If Trump is not confident that his time will be respected and not interferred with, especially by the TDS afflicted moderator that has been brought in, then he should cancel.

Now there's little point going to the "debate". Biden merely has to stall for 120 seconds every time Trump or the moderator (but she won't) asks a question he doesn't want to answer.

Meaning, if the moderator somehow never asks about court packing, or Burisma, or China coercing a President Biden by threatening to release even more videos of his son's behavior unless Joe does exactly what they want, Biden merely has to stall - something he's been successfully doing for 47 years. And Trump will have very little opportunity to ask important questions, follow them up after Biden's stalling, etc.

The candidates still have a discussion period where they can ask back and forth questions after the uninterrupted 2 minutes.

What about muting the mike of the moderator? This is a bigger problem with interrupting Trump when he tries to speak.
