So why do we need a wall again?
The exception is marijuana, which does enter in bulk shipments between POEs. Trump had this great photo opportunity featuring himself surrounded by border patrol agents during his visit last month to Mission, TX. There had been a drug bust.

Trump went on and on about all the dangerous drugs (mentioning fentanyl etc.) entering from Mexico. He spoke of the many American deaths.

But when he pointed to the bales piled up - THOSE he referred to only as "drugs." At the end of video (featured on Hannity) one of the agents made mention they were "dope."

Texas has not legalized marijuana and so, fine, it is an illegal drug. But are we going to build a wall between Texas and California where it is sold legally to prevent cross shipments of marijuana between them?

Wait a minute. Wasn't it Trump who said that the illegals had super fast cars that were superior to our border patrol? So we build another 100 miles of wall and those tricky border jumpers get in their super fast cars with their women duct taped in the back, they take their prayer rugs and blast through the desert, turn right, and bing, blast across the border. So a wall is going to stop that how? Trump said it, it must be true right?

On this we agree but, in many cases just getting a college degree is NOT the answer. Way too many useless majors.

It is what you DO with that degree is what counts.
If I could understand a bit of what you were getting at I'd comment.
But as it is I will leave it at......

1. You will never stop humans from desire - especially Americans who have a particular problem with it.
2. Most Americans want comprehensive immigration reform but Congress has failed to do it for decades.
3. The Majority of Americans do not agree with Trump ruling by Lie and Decree

So that keeps us in the position we are in now.

I suppose we could photoshop an Wall and satisfy a large portion of the rabid Walleyes.

No more worries. Trump said today the Wall is being built and it has been going on and he doesn't need help.

So, can we discuss something else now? Like improving this country? Trump "has it covered" according to him...and we know he is reliable, know more about wall and tech than anyone and always tells the truth.

Next issue?

Because Trump said so??

of course Trump had the chance to do so when he controlled the house and the senate, but just in case they voted no, now he has an excuse to blame the left. Which which he does.

Here's where you go wrong.

1. Good physical barriers will help stop the drug mules whom are not coming through border legal ports of entry.

2. Good physical barriers will stop the border jumpers from south of our border and there are still plenty of them doing so (see link below). The visa over stayers will just have to be dealt with in another way. The visa over stayer comments are just made to deflect from the border issue. It's a part of the playbook by the Parrot Club in here.

You lose any cred you might have with such rants.

First you tell us that "something else" has to be done about 50% or more of the immigrants, you offer no solution about the millions that are here and even your "Wall" is only a tiny portion of the 2,000 mile border.

For virtually ZERO dollars Texas could mandate E-Verfy and, according to you, stop murders, rapes, drugs, human trafficing and save us billions. But they don't.

And you excuse that and everything else with a wave of your hand....and expect us to believe that some fractional steel slats are going to solve our immigration woes???

As I said, you lose all cred. Come up with a complete solution and we'll talk. Comprehensive immigration reform through Congress...spearheaded by the POTUS.

Just heard on the news that Pasco County had one jail where one overdosed and died due to Fentanyl being smuggled in and three others overdosed but were saved on time.

Not sure why the inmate was in the jail and he must not have been sentenced as this is a local jail where inmates are booked and usually stay till their trial or at least their arraignment.

Therefore I can't say he is guilty but if he was a bad dude then it saves money but it is scary that the stuff can be sneaked in.

The sheriff called it "poison".

Now you're getting it.

THE WAR ON DRUGS DOES NOT WORK. It never has. It never will. It can't even stop the stuff from getting inside our secure jails and prisons!

It is time for a different approach.

Speaking as someone who lives in California, your idea intrigues me. Although I'd probably wall off Arizona first, because damn.
