No one is trying to argue that others are free trade. You are arguing you are not either.

We are discussing something. If you take that as "attacking" you, well, I would say you are more of an authoritarian.

"Do not question what I say" type of person. Much like Trump.

A, I'm not speaking to you personally, rather all the 'libertarians' who have attacked me for holding a libertarian view.

B, I welcome personal attacks of being authoritarian from you, just as I welcome them from my Democrat neighbors.

An authoritarian would tell you to shut up or die, just like every Democrap.

"All" these people are not here. You have just admitted you are not a Libertarian so I'm missing your complaint. Just because you support a position or two does not make you something.

I don't even call myself a Libertarian even though I am fairly involved locally. I was the official photographer at the 2016 state convention. I participated in many sign holding events and parades. At the state level they were overwhelming the better option. I still would not register (L).

Or pass a law or seek a law to shut you up like Trump considered doing to SNL?

Independent or GOP. The GOP seems to be moving towards pot legalization as a reality. I don't think one can be a Libertarian and feel the state should have the right to regulate who can get married. That is a very un-libertarian way of thinking.

Is it possible you were trying to say "Laissez-faire"?

Trump is not a libertarian- I don’t think he even knows what he is. The point here is that Trump is on the right side of RINOs, Hillary and Democraps, I vote for Republicans because I want to move the needle towards the right.
The rejection of Reagan/ Goldwater classical liberalism in favor of Buchanan/ Trump paleo conservativism is a huge step away from libertarianism. Yes, any Republican is better on judges.

The fact is the Republican Party was more libertarian before Trump. I will not vote for anyone whose basic philosophy is not based on free markets, free trade and free men.

I received the Libertarian Party's Christmas email:

"Libertarians embrace the ideal of voluntary giving which is the very spirit of the holiday. May this season find your heart and table full. May you also find yourself in a position to help those less fortunate without government coercion. May we be the change we seek in the world."

This email certainly doesn't suggest that Libertarians believe in self-interest only, rather than helping others; it simply suggests a preference for the private sector.

(I don't see private charity as sufficient to provide for the less fortunate (although I wish that it could be), so I of course favor government help for those in need.)
