Other than the 30+ hours over 4 days in his early September confirmation hearing, followed by answering more submitted questions than every other Supreme Court nominee in history, combined, and the four other committee interviews between then and the Sep 27 hearing you're referring to, it was absolutely the first time he was "interrogated", as long as you ignore his 2006 hearing before the same committee when he was nominated for the DC circuit.

Right wing myth yet again. I would certainly agree Bill was a womanizer. That is a trait he shares with many of the recent US Presidents. I would also agree Bill lied in the Monica affair and was suitably punished for his role.
The vast majority of those myths however are absurd and widely disproved. Theses myths have been investigated hard by those hostile to the Clintons and have led no where.
