Now, anyone - or at least any rational person - should agree that this is crazed. First, we could say that it's contemptible to be insulting a woman's competence by referencing her looks. Second, we could point out that it's even more contemptible when referring to an older woman - does this poster expect Hillary to have a body like a Sports Illustrated model? But, third, most importantly, unless he has some secret voyeur thing going on, he has no idea what Hillary's legs look like. She is not parading around in miniskirts or bathing suits.

This means that this guy is spinning fantasies about her, in the worst possible way. This implies such a distasteful combination of hatred and lies, and maybe fear of strong women - and it seems to be a constant thread among Republicans these days.

Why do so many Republicans seem unable to be logical or truthful? Why do so many seem filled with irrational hatred?
What you call a "conservative" thing is actually more of a "people" thing. We've seen the same type of comments out of liberals, such as when a female conservative pundit is said to have gotten the job only because she's "hot."

You know that old saying about glass houses? Yeah, it's probably appropriate here.

So, let me get this straight.....

The revised liberal talking points manual must be saying that misogony is the new racism?

That's funny, I thought "white supremacy" was this years planned faux outrage.

You guys really need to make up your minds about what you're pretending to be mad about.

Projecting from coordinated talking points of the kind dispensed via Fox, Breitbart, Infowars, etc. doesn't transfer to non-wackadoodles.

We get to think independently and use real intelligence instead of swilling up the poisonous pablum from RWNJ media. No faux outrage. No pretending to be mad. We get to have our very own opinions based on reasoned, thoughtful perception and cognition when there is an appropriate occasion. Keeps your brain and soul from atrophying from disuse/misuse/abuse. What an amazing concept, huh? You should try it. Tell all your friends. Fun for the whole gang!

Aside from the fact women are more critical of other women's looks than most men are, why assume "misogyny" is the culprit?
Here is a classic example of a leftist woman attacking the looks of Trumps daughter;

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c7Rhy4HOZoA

Put another way, when women make fun of Trumps hair and/or looks, is that misandry on their parts?
If not, then you cannot claim ____ism on the one hand, but not a ___ism on the other.

I know liberals/leftists love to deflect from reality, like when they screamed racism when people had legitimate policy differences with Obama. They were trying to imply that any objection to Obama was rooted in racism.
This is why they love to divide people by playing gender/race/ religion identity politics. They feel that it helps to insulate their candidates from criticism via a fear of being labeled a ____ist, which the left loves to do.

The OP based this thread on misogyny, which is not just about looks, it's about hatred, contempt, etc., about/towards women. The OP went off the rails because someone made a off-hand comment about Hillary maybe having cottage cheese thighs (she is old and overweight, so it's very possible that she does). The OP seems to think that it is ONLY the Republicans that are misogynistic

The OP seems to be fine with being misogynistic towards Melania. From only two posts (out of how many others?), the OP seems to think that Melania is .. uneducated, dumb, incapable of doing something good, a trophy, a gold-digger, sleazy, no intellectual pursuits, no political opinions, her appearance is all she has, clueless and tasteless about clothing [all stated as fact, not opinion]

OP, how long have you personally known Melania? Must have known her, very intimately, for most of her life to state those things as facts.

It is possible, but some of them actually believe the nonsense they repeat.

Nailed it .

This forum is rife with slurs against everything Trump, how he looks, acts, thinks, etc. Why about just one gender, are we so special, as women, that it has to be made only about us?

if Democrats all think "independently", why do Democrats send out so many talking points to the media and tell them to all use certain"word" when attacking Republicans?

OMG! Millions and millions of us have been missing out. We'll have to get started on ours right away. Who are those Democrats sending out those talking points with the certain "word"? What is that mysterious word? Inquiring minds want to know? Can you post a few so we have a format and don't duplicate when we do our own?

P.S. Just because somebody is selling, doesn't mean we will buy. That's what discernment is for. After all, we're NOT conservatives. We favor cognition over dogma.

Democrats entire philosophy is based on rubber stamp accusations of "_____ism"

It's basically their only political weapon.

So spare me the claims of critical thinking.

Critisism of Hillary is criticism of Hillary....not of all women.

Just like when Dems unloaded on Sara Palin.

If the candidates had been Joe Biden and Conoleezza Rice, the high heel would be on the other foot........Republicans would attack Joe for being a gaff-tastic, bumbling idiot and Democrats wood be calling Connie a traitor to her race and gender.
