Their taxes may be high, but they get more out of their citizenship. OTOH, we don't see the benefots of the taxes we pay. The money mostly goes to the military.
socialism and fascism (which is socialism lite) are ANTI-FREEDOM big government
and FDR was a fascist
liberalism is fascism which is a form of socialism
fascism is a form of socialism, which all connects to marxism
fascism is left
As an ardent admirer of Marx, Benito Mussolini (1883-1945) called his version of Marxist socialism "Fascism" Instead of nationalization--government ownership--of private business, Mussolini advocated government control of business via complete bureaucratic regulation.
the NASI's were the Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei (National Socialist German Workers’ Party) and they are very close to the MODERN liberal
simple things like 'nationalizing' corporations, nationalization of all trusts(banks),social security, eminate domain(agrarian reform) , removing the guns from the people, demand the end of capitolism, state(country) provided education, blame the jews (or the modern version 'the zionists'),.. 'fairness doctrine"( censorship of talk radia), redistribution of wealth).....COMMON GOOD BEFORE INDIVIDUAL GOOD .........
DO THESE SOUND FAMILIAR, YES THE ARE THE TALKING POINTS OF THE LIBERALS, THE DNC AND MOVEON.ORG..................
......
.....
....
THEY ARE ALSO A LARGE PART OF HITLERS 25 POINTS
hitler came into power because germany (after ww1) was in economic depression and he was the candidate of 'hope and change',, his plans slowly moved from being helpful to dreadful,,he took true socialism, and spun it with fascism and the next thing you know he is a liberaL dictator.
fascism/socialism/communism/marxism don't REQUIRE a dictator..but any time you make the government so big and powerful a totalitarian or dictator could easily step in
liberalism leads to dictators
liberals and their nationalistic mottos:
hmmm YES WE CAN...or lets NATIONALIZE the oil companies.....more hopey changey
btw you do understand that left/right wing is just a way of describing....ie on one hand you have these, and on the other hand you have these
ie the democrats are to the right of the liberals...... would you call democrats ''rightwing''???

not true...most of our money(budget) goes to social programs
Sure, if you ignore the fact that a supermajority has been required to pass almost everything in the past six years. It's not BS when the opposition party at the time threatened filibuster with nearly EVERY piece of legislation.
and??
filibuster is a good thing...it gives '''the opposition'''(your words) the chance to actually DEBATE the issue/bill/policy
have you ever seen the movie "mr. smith goes to washington"???

A filibuster doesn't even require presence in the chamber. It's now a procedural maneuver with zero debate. And the Hastert Rule keeps anything that doesn't have the support of the majority of the majority party from even making it to the floor.
And Mr. Smith Goes to Washington wasn't a documentary.
I don't know if you read the article or just the title, but the writer defines facist as being in total control, while is true that the classic examples of socialism did involve total control, social democracy does not because it involves people voting...
The statement to which I was responding claimed that "socialism has nothing to do with fascism or Nazis." In fact, it does. Plenty of historic quotes prove exactly so.
not true...most of our money(budget) goes to social programs
37% of the budget is mandatory spending on social security and Medicare.
8% goes to Medicaid
10% goes to food stamps and tax breaks for having kids
6% goes to the interest on the debt.
4.8% goes to veteran retirement and education
Of our discretionary spending over 60% goes to the military, which is 18% of the total budget.
The remaining 16% goes to all of those things which makes a country run including transportation, housing, and the social programs that are always in danger of being cut.
The US government is really an insurance company with a standing army.
We embrace the glorious socialist paradise. We want a world where everything not mandatory, permitted, or regulated is forbidden. We want everyone to pay their "fair share," unless they're recipients of their "fair share."
No one can absolutely own anything - including themselves. We are all part of the collective whole, equally equal unless specially privileged.
We love Big Brother.
