Apparently no one going on and on about budget has actually read the article....where they mention that the cost of pork has gone up, thus this saves money.
And no its not about the islamization of America. What nonsense.
People in prison don't get choices......or do you think they should?
Not really, the pork has been there since the beginning of prisons. Just as marriage between man and woman has been since ancient Rome.
I think they should have to pass a law to eliminate it out of their diet. What if white men decide they don't like radical Islam beginning taught in prisons, can they stop this?
Again, a non-issue. Try being outraged by something that matters. Like the US accidentally bombing a hospital. Did you know there are millions of Muslims in the US? Millions? Now in my frame of thought, that means there are millions of Muslims, in your frame of thaought, that means millions of Islamists.

They just don’t like the taste of pork.
“Why keep pushing food that people don’t want to eat?” asked Edmond Ross, a spokesman for the prison bureau. “Pork has been the lowest-rated food by inmates for several years,” It also apparently got more expensive for the government to buy, although he did not provide specifics.
Looks like the prison cooks don't know how to cook pork.

Shovel ready jobs, you can keep your doctor, period!, it was the video and the reason for eliminating pork was cost.
There should be a food company headed by michelle obama which scientifically designs menus to create the healthiest prisonsers in the world and include additives that would supress the desire to commit crime. All vegetarian diet. Soybeans can be made to taste like anything you want. No corn or corn meal as 40% of our corn supply goes to make ethanol. Perhaps Purina would like to sell bags of prison chow. Keeps the teeth white and the coat shiney.
