The thing that's most ridiculous about this is that the kid never claimed anything was a bomb. The school did. The kid never made any threats or claims.

It's really the same thing if I carry my cell phone with headphones and a charger attached. I suppose someone could claim it's a "device" but I never did, so should I be the one in trouble just because they were scared?

The focus shouldn't be on the device or the kid at all. The focus should be on how the school and police mishandled the situation.

Was this kids older sister expelled from the same school?

Why are we not hearing the schools side of the story?

Read the Brietbart link above.

Quote:
The school can’t release additional information because the Sudanese parents of the boy have not signed the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, either for the boy or his older sister, said Lesley Weaver, a spokeswoman for the district.

The school has sent a copy of the document to the parents, but they won’t sign it, she told Breitbart. “I wish we could…. provide more information to the media,” said Weaver, whose school district and local police force are now facing worldwide claims that they unfairly targeted the boy because of his Islamic background.

Refreshing to see a vocal leftist who doesn't bow to the left's new favored religion, and isn't falling for it.
After all, Ahmed is "so traumatized" from the whole thing that he's currently on a celebrity world tour!

He admitted in an interview that he knew his clock could look suspicious. Despite what message board experts say, not everyone knows, or should be expected to know, exactly what an explosive device looks like. One article, NO LINK, said that clockboy's responses to teachers were 'passive-aggressive. His parents should let the school release info re his interaction with school personnel.

This is sad......it's why things never get fixed. I posted a link where others had been treated wrongly by the system and they were not Muslim. I can probably post 25 without a problem.

The problem is an over controlling school and legal system. Period.

No meat. Brietbart simply cites the Federal Statute. Any real limitation would be TX law.

True. But that does not rule out an ethnic bias. No period.

Hilarious clip. Ron Reagan is a ninny.

All these adults swooning over Ahmed are doing him a disservice. He did nothing more than pull the guts out of an alarm clock and dump them into a mini metal briefcase. What a bunch of fools, especially when he tells them about his "inventions" grinning because he is being treated like a celebrity.

So This was just some ridiculous story about some kid being kicked out of school, and led away in handcuffs mind you, for bringing a disassembled clock to school

So this time it wasn't some white kid with Pot Tart gun. . .of which you posted how ridiculous and PC the world has become. Death to the school! Or some man banned from Chuck-E-Cheeze for an AK47 strapped to his back.

Nope - this time its the school that needs defended. . .What a bunch of flippin' hypocrites.
